Med-tronic Physio-Control LIFEPAK 20 LP20 Defibrillator Printer Cover Assembly
► Brief Introduction
The Printer is a 50 mm, stepper motor-driven recorder. The printer receives serial data and commands from the User Interface PCB, converts the print data, and controls the motor-drive signals to perform the “muscle” part of printing. The printer returns status signals derived from the paper supply sensor and printer door to the UI PCB.
► Printer Module Installation
- Slide the Printer Flex Cable under the ECG Cable and position the printer cable along right side the guide on the bottom case.
- Insert the printer cable connector and 4-pin power cable connector through the large slot in the shroud.
- Insert the 4-pin power connector through the small slot in shroud.
- Connect the 4-pin power connector to the Power PCB, ensuring that the connector is positioned correctly.
- Position the printer shroud in the bottom case.
- Install three 4-40 × .312 screws into the bottom of the printer shroud
- If removed, press the fastener into printer shroud to secure the flex connector.
- Connect the Printer Flex Cable to the connector on the printer. The cable should lay flat against the rear of the printer.
- Slide the Printer into the printer shroud.
- Ensure that the Printer Flex Cable lays between the two capture screws.
- Tighten the two capture screws located in the Printer.
- Insert the printer bezel ensuring that it is flush with the bottom case.
- Install the paper roll in the Printer and close the printer door.
- Install the boardstack, if the Printer Flex Cable was replaced.
- Install the front case.
- Install the top case.
- Install the Battery.
- Review the labels parts list and install new labels.
