Spo2 module
The SpO2 module measures blood oxygen saturation using optical spectrophotometry technology. The technique is based on the difference in the absorption of red and infrared light by oxygenated and deoxygenated hemoglobin. The pulse oximeter sends red and infrared light to the arteries and measures changes in light absorption during pulse cycles. The light source is a red and infrared light emitting diode (LED). To determine the oxygen saturation of hemoglobin in the arteries The monitor uses the rhythmic nature of arterial blood flow. During the systoles, a new pulse of arterial blood enters the vacuolar bed. and both blood volume and light absorbance are increased. during the diastole Blood volume and light absorption are the lowest. The measurement is based on the difference between maximum and minimum absorption. emphasizing the pulsating red blood In addition to the oxygen saturation measurement function Measurements can also provide pulse rate.

To Remove Spo2 board
1. Separate the front panel from the rear housing assembly
2.Remove the two white plastic PHiliphh screws on the SpO2 board assembly
3.Lift the SpO2 board assembly straight up and away from the connector on the motherboard.
