The IntelliVue MX40 is a portable patient monitor. Designed to support continuous ECG and SpO2 as well as impedance assisted ventilation in ambulatory care. The short-range radio option allows connection to IntelliVue wireless measurements or IntelliVue patient monitors for additional adjustments. MX40 displays provide instant access to patient data at the point of care.
Warning - Dispose of the individual patient probe set after use. It cannot be reused or cleaned with any of the materials listed below.
IMPORTANT - AFTER EXPOSURE, clean the MX40 and patient cable according to the instructions provided here. The sterilization of the MX40 is certified by the STERRAD 100NX System. Refer to the manufacturer's instructions for more information and instructions on sterilizing the MX40. Another Steris V-pro process using hydrogen peroxide vapor is also acceptable.
Follow these steps to remove visible debris from the surface of the MX40 and patient cable.
Warning - It is recommended to wear protective gloves when cleaning.
1 Remove the battery and disconnect the patient cable.
2 When using non-rechargeable AA batteries Remove the battery compartment and clean it separately.
3 Wipe the MX40 and patient cable with a cloth dampened with one of the approved cleaning agents listed in the table below. 4 Follow the manufacturer's instructions when using.
5 Wipe the inside of the M40 and the patient cable sheath with distilled water or alcohol to prevent deposits.
6 Air dry or wipe with a lint-free cloth.
