► Brief Introduction
The IntelliVue MP40/MP50 (M8003A/M8004A) patient monitor is equipped with a 12-inch TFT LCD flat-panel SVGA display. The MP50's standard input device is a touch screen and integrated navigation point; The MP40 provides only integrated navigation points. Up to six waveforms can be displayed on an MP40/MP50 screen, and up to 12 electrocardiograms can be displayed on a 12-lead ECG screen.
The MP40/MP50 can be connected to a multiple measurement server (MMS) and any measurement server extension. The IntelliVue family of plug-in measurement modules can be connected to its four integrated plug-in module slots for easy plug and play (the only exception is the SvO2 module M1021A, which cannot be used with the MP40/MP50). Flexible module server (M8048A) cannot be used with MP40/MP50.
► Removing the Internal Module Rack
1 Separate the front and back half of the monitor as described above.
2 Remove the main board as described above
3 Loosen the two screws securing the module rack (do not remove them completely!) and pull out the rack to the left.
